Explore Alor 5D/4N
Itinerary
Our guide will welcome you in Alor’s airport at 9.40 am or 1.40 pm, depends on your flight schedule. You will be welcomed with Alor’s Ikat scarfs as welcome sign from us. We will ride the car to head to Batu Putih beach to see the amazing beach with crystal clear water and white karst walls to start the Explore Alor tours 5D/4N.
Enjoy your time here by swimming, collecting shells or resting under the shades with hammocks.
Continue to Mangrove beach where we will have lunch and enjoy snorkelling (only on low tide) to see Napoleon fishes. We can enjoy fresh coconut water as well. Continue our trip to Mali beach to see the Dugong in it’s habitat. Drive around 30 minutes to go there then board the boat to sail. We can interact with it only within 30 minutes period after we spot it because it’s very sensitive to voice and interaction with humans thus the government limit the interaction time. After seeing the Dugong, we will sail to Sika island where we can go around the island, observe some sea turtles nests and enjoy our lunch in the nearby bungalows. Continue to Takpala traditional village, where we can meet the Abui tribe and learn about their culture, their houses and their heirlooms. This tribe still lives without modern technology. We can enjoy the coffee and local food they will prepare while watching sunset.
Drive to the Simfony Hotel or Pulo Alor hotel (3*) for check in and have dinner then rest.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then our guide will pick you and we will take the car to go to Mataru waterfall – the largest waterfall in Alor and a 1,5 hours trek from the road. Continue to Tuti Adagae hotspring that sprays like geyser and enjoy a picnic lunch here. Then we can visit Monbang village to see the tribes that live with traditional attire made from tree barks, they are coffee farmers as well and we can enjoy traditional coffee processing. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then our guide will pick you and we will board the boat to go to Pura island. We can snorkel here and see the locals do spearfishing and other traditional methods of fishing, stop by in another village for snorkelling and we can see the villagers scale up the palm trees to get it’s water that will be turned into palm liquor. Sail to Ternate island and snorkel here as well, this island also known for the famous Ikat (handwoven clothes) making. Therefore, all the women can handwove and we can learn how to make Ikat or just learn about traditional organic colorings from them. You also can shop for Ikat as souvenirs for your loved ones.
Continue sailing to Ling’al beach, enjoy the beautiful sandy beach with soft sands. We will have lunch here and enjoy your rest time, you also swim, playing in the beach or do some canoeing with the locals sampans. There’s also a hill behind the beach where you can do a short trekking to see the panoramic view of landscape.
On the way back, we will stop in Kepa island to enjoy sunset. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Visit Alor Besar village to see the ancient Holy Koran that exist from the 15th century, then continue to Ikat workshop of Gunung Mako to see the making of traditional ikat with natural colors.
We will then drive to Sebanjar beach, here we can snorkel, floating on giant tubes or just hanging around the sunbeds and hammocks. If you’re lucky, you can meet reef sharks and eagle rays here while snorkelling.
To enjoy sunset, we can go to Hulnani, a nearby hill where we can see the amazing landscapes of Alor archipelago bathed in sunset.
Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.
