About the Lopus Village, located in Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan.

The Dayak village we're going to visit is named “KOKORAKAN BOTUAH” in local language. Kokorakan means: expanse of rocks on the river at low tide (hope), while Botuah means : Lucky.

Itinerary Dayak Tribe Tours (3Days 2Nights)

Day 1

  • Upon your arrival from the Orangutan tour/Tanjung Puting, we will directly go to Lopus village, it takes about 4-5 hours, with the private car.
  • Since there is only one bus that pass the village everyday and depart at 7 am, so we will use private rental car.
  • Arrive there, we will directly go to the homestay. At night, we will give you the welcoming simple ceremony. Dinner with the local.

Day 2

  • We will go rafting and trekking to the waterfall. Then in the afternoon, we are going back to the homestay.
  • Breakfast and dinner at the homestay, lunch will be on the way while trekking.

Day 3

  • Early morning after breakfast, we will go to Pedukuhan for the Live In program and the activities will following on what the local people will do on that time (planting rice, fishing, etc).
  • If you possible to inform us the fix schedule so we will update about the local activities will be on that time. After lunch, we will go back to Pangkalan Bun.
  • And you can stay overnight at the hotel here before your next flight.

The programs are flexible, for example, we can arrange Live in and Trekking on the second day, etc.

Activities & attractions offered, such as:
1. River Tubing
River tubing on Delang River through the streams and cascades, about 1,5 hours with the local guide. Using the float and helmet.

2. Jungle Cruising
Rafting down the Delang River with the inflatable boat, with the local guide until reaching Nyalang Village, about 2,5 hours.

3.Trekking, exploring the tropical forest and nature at Lopus Village
Traverse the cultivation area, tropical forest, tributary, hills, exploring for birds and wildlife. Also explore for the rare trees.
Another options; Silingan Garung waterfalls about 6-8 hours walking and stay overnight there), (Silingan Todung waterfalls about 1,5 hours walking without stay there), (Gampau Forest for more wild adventure).

4. Live in the Dayak village according to the tradition and daily life of the Dayak
going to the field, traditional fishing, handy-craft making, traditional cooking class and Nyandau (harvesting Durian fruit). The culture tradition are: Borindi Dancing, Babantan laman, Nuba Adat, Ngobat Padi, Tewah, Ngoja, Manganjan, Ngongkundau, and Moluai.
